Academy Training Rescheduled

The Academy Training scheduled for Labor Day, 9/7, has been moved to Wednesday, 9/9. I expect that this will cause scheduling issues for some and understand if you will not be able to attend.

Snack/Drink Schedule

Here is a snack & drink schedule for the game, there are 9 girls on our team. I just randomly assigned names so please let me know if you have any conflicts with the date your given.

We do have a player with a peanut allergy, please try to avoid bringing any snack made with peanuts or peanut butter.

I will bring a fruit (ie. apple slices or 1/2 banana or grapes or oranges) for the girls to snack on if they need it at half time. If you child can't or won't eat any of the above please let me know.

We have confirmation from David Staverman that Monday's practice will be held Wednesday at 5:45 at Silverlake.

I will not be able to attend but Coach Sean will be there to work with the team.

Also, we will have our regularly scheduled practice on Thursday and will try to keep it fun.

Stormy Weather

I just received word from David Staverman that we are cancelled for tonight.

The instructor, Jeff Cummings, would like to hold the make-up session this Wednesday, 5:45, at Silverlake. Please let me know ASAP if you can attend and I will pass along to David.

Proper Soccer Ball is Size 3

I made a mistake in the post on required soccer equipment. The proper ball size for U8 is a size 3.

Many thanks to Kevin Carothers for pointing this out and my apologies to those who are inconvenienced.

Schedules and Rain Out Information

The only thing we know for certain is that the season will consist of 8 games and the first is scheduled for 8/22. Usually, we do not receive an official schedule until the last week before we begin.

When we get the schedule I will post it along with directions to the fields and rain out numbers. When I am aware of a rainout I will post it immediately on this site, but parents can feel free to call the rain out numbers as well.
